a better place to live?
Can you find time
for a few hours every month for meetings?
Are you
willing and able to get along with others?
Can you
commit to volunteering at a few different functions a year?
If you answered yes to these questions then you
are ready to become a Lion.
How do I become
a Lion?
Contact a current Lion member
for sponsorship.
Attend a meeting as
a guest to see if you like the feel of the atmosphere.
Fill out appropriate paperwork given to you by membership committee member.
What
will be expected of me?
Attend monthly meeting.
-- Meetings are 2nd and 4th Wednesday
of each month September - May
Pay dues on time and
in full.
-- Dues are $65.00/year + a one-time initiation fee of $30.00
Show up on-time as scheduled for mandatory functions.
Mandatory Functions:
-- December
Pancake Breakfast
-- March Pancake Breakfast
-- Softball Tournament
-- Highway Pickup (spring and fall)
Voluntary Functions:
-- Lions
Golf Tournament
-- Halloween Party
-- Easter Egg Hunt
-- Victoria Volkfest
-- Concerts in the Park
